The company has optioned the Scheelite Dome Gold Property in theYukon with a right to earn up to a 65% interest.
The Scheelite Dome Property covers approximately 10,300 hectares and is located within the Tintina Gold Province, approximately 35 km by road northwest of the town of Mayo, Yukon. Scheelite Dome is recognized as one of the largest intrusion-related gold systems in the Yukon based on:
- A large (40 kmē) soil geochem anomaly (Au + As + Bi) on the margin of an intrusive member of the Tombstone Plutonic Series.
- Intrusion-hosted stockwork, wallrock-hosted vein, and skarn mineralization; and;
- Forty-nine drill holes completed to date with up to 7.7 meters of 3.7 g/t gold (SH98-12) and 95.7 meters of 0.362 g/t gold (SH99-24).Sheelite Dome occurs in a geological setting that is similar to that of Sumitomo and Teck Cominco's Pogo deposit in Alaska (7 million tonnes of 16.12 gpt gold) and NovaGold and Barrick Gold's Donlin Creek deposit (215 million tonnes of 2.4 gpt gold).
The results of the 2007 diamond drill program at Scheelite Dome in the Tintina Gold Belt, Yukon produced encouraging results. The five-hole, 601.42 meter program focused on the Aorta structural corridor, an east-west striking zone of gently-dipping monzonite dikes and intrusion-related gold mineralization. Results, listed below, include several ten meter intervals of potentially ore grade gold mineralization and one high-grade interval.

Previous drill holes into the Aorta structural corridor returned similar long intervals of gold mineralization including 54.9 meters of 0.45 g/t (RC97-11), 43.4 meters of 0.56 g/t (SH98-10), 20.3 meters at 1.03 g/t (SH99-23), 8.9 meters of 1.81 g/t (SH99-24), and 15.8 meters of 1.88 g/t (SH98-12). When combined with the 2007 program, these intercepts demonstrate continuity of low-grade, near-surface gold mineralization along the Aorta structural corridor.
