September, 24, 2007 - Vancouver, British Columbia:
Riverside Resources Inc. TSX.V: RRI is pleased to announce the commencement of a 700-meter diamond drill program at Scheelite Dome Gold Project, an intrusion-related gold system in the Tintina Gold Belt, Yukon. The target is a gold-bearing vein stockwork and fault structure zone located at the center of a large (40 kmĀ²) gold-in-soil anomaly.

The Scheelite Dome Gold Project is located in the historic placer and lode gold mining Mayo Camp and the exploration claims cover 108 km2 area with multiple gold target areas as outlined in the June 2007, National Instrument 43-101 Independent Technical Report by Allen Doherty. The Technical Report as well as a three dimensional mineral exploration computer model showing the target areas, previous drill holes, gold geochemical anomaly and other data is viewable on Riverside's website (www.rivres.com).

Scheelite Dome is 25 km on road northwest of the town of Mayo and 30 km southwest of the Dublin Gulch intrusion-related gold deposit. Riverside has an option to earn a 65% interest in the property from joint venture partner and operator Copper Ridge Exploration (TSX-V: KRX). The drill program will be overseen by Greg Dawson of Copper Ridge Exploration.

John-Mark Staude, President and CEO of Riverside, says, "We are pleased to follow up on the August 27 IPO launch of Riverside Resources Inc with the initiation of our fall gold drill program at Scheelite Dome. The team has worked this summer to prioritize targets and we will now test the Aorta zone looking for extensions of gold mineralization."

Previous drill programs testing the Aorta structural corridor at Scheelite Dome Gold Project have returned long intervals of gold mineralization including 54.9 meters of 0.45 g/t (RC97-11), 43.4 meters of 0.56 g/t (SH98-10), 20.3 meters at 1.03 g/t (SH99-23), 8.9 meters of 1.81 g/t (SH99-24), and 15.8 meters of 1.88 g/t (SH98-12). The current program will offset these holes and test for continuity of mineralization adjacent to a sericite-altered monzonite dike. The target is a shallow, low-grade, bulk-mineable, intrusion-related gold deposit.
